I shouldn’t have thought that there could be a conflict between your ide and a PCI card, but it’s worth a poke around. Is that the problem? If you are sure your system had or ‘has’ a wireless card in it, please check your BIOS to make sure it is detected and enabled, and if it already is, try resetting the BIOS to factory defaults.
